Visiting Artist Workshop
A Digital Collage Workshop with Rachel Broussard.
Auto captioning and ASL available
Join artist Rachel Broussard in a free online collaborative digital collage workshop, where we will be planting a digital fantasy garden. Rachel will give an introduction to her own artwork, collage techniques, and other artists working in collage. Using found images of native and exotic flora and fauna, we will make collages of spectacular gardens – just in time for spring! This workshop does not require materials. We just ask that you bring some seeds (ideas) of which kind of extraordinary plants you would like to see in our fantasy garden.

Fitzmaurice Voicework (TM) Intensive with Traci Foster
In collaboration with New Dance Horizons
In-person
Description: Fitzmaurice Voicework ® is a revolutionary somatic approach to body, breath, and voice. The practice uses dynamic efforts similar to yoga asanas, released breath flow, and sound, to encourage a vibrant relationship between psyche, soma, and voice. This gentle grounded interplay between released body, breath, and voice, creates a safe and healthy approach to expression.
This workshop will focus on freeing your breath so you can imagine, express, and play, with more ease, power, pleasure, presence, and efficiency. We will work together to locate where awareness, intuition, and action, intersect when sounding, singing, and speaking. All work will engage with intimate inclusion as a foundation
