Conceived of in 2015 by Listen to Dis' and its members,The main goals of this project are: 1) to build sustainable, inclusive cross-ability arts practices and performance that bridged the gap between those living with disability with the broader community and 2) to focus on the person not the disability. The labour of this past year will soon culminate in. This project involves an exhibition of visual art and photography, writing of memoir monologues and public performance including a public processional parade of lanterns. The project involved collaborations with local inclusion-focused artists and has received funding from organization such as the Canada Council for the Arts and Affinity Credit Union.
